Your dose of neurotoxin = the duration, so if you are under treated, your movement will come back quicker than if you are treated with the correct dosage.
It’s normal to start having movement back within 2 months of your last treatment, and full movement back within 3-4 months (remember neurotoxin is not permanent).
Feedback is important, if we don’t dose you enough or certain areas feel “heavy,” please communicate that with your provider so we can dose appropriately at your following visit.

We will inject neurotoxin to the upper lip to prevent it from curling under when smiling (lip flip) and/or place neurotoxin above the mouth to correct a gummy smile (gummy smile correction).

We will inject your masseter muscle on both sides of your face, which is a very large muscle - when injected can help with clenching your jaw, grinding your teeth, and tension headaches. This will also give you some facial slimming. Masseter injections take up to 1 month to see full results. A total of 40-60 units is used.
Recommended that you receive treatment every 5-6 months for best results.

A treatment that reduces excessive sweating by temporarily calming overactive sweat glands. Commonly treated areas include the underarms, hands, and feet.
We will assess the areas on your face that you want treated and create a treatment plan together.
The treatment itself involves injecting tiny needles into your facial muscles to help smooth out your fine lines and wrinkles.
The injection sites may be swollen and red, which usually subsides after 15-20 minutes and sometimes bruising can occur.
Results start to kick in within 3-5 days and full onset of results will be seen at 14 days. If you need any touch ups, we will do so at your 2 week follow up appointment.
YOUR TREATMENT PLAN:
Avoid taking NSAIDs (advil, ibuprofen, aleve, aspirin, motrin), Vitamin E, fish oil, etc for 2 weeks prior to treatment. This helps reduce your chance of bruising.
Avoid alcohol consumption 24 hours prior to treatment.
You cannot be breast feeding or pregnant to get neurotoxin.
No treatment within 2 weeks before and after any vaccine.
No facial infections at the time of treatment (ex: cold sores or fungal infections).
TIP: schedule your appointment 1 month prior to your large event (ex: wedding, vacation, speaking event) so the fullest effects of the tox will have set in by then.
PRE CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
No strenuous activity for 24 hours.
Remain sitting upright for the first 4 hours after treatment (no naps!!)
Do NOT massage or rub the treated areas for a minimum of 24 hours (gentle face washing is okay).
No facials, massages, or using clarisonic like devices for 14 days after treatment.
Avoid tanning beds, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs for 24 hours.
No headbands or hats for 24 hours.
